Printing customised bags
For custom-made bags, we use an "offset" method of printing, which entails printing a flat sheet of paper prior to being cut, folded and assembled into a bag. For this process we can use "spot" colours (using the Pantone colour guide system) or 4CMYK or a mixture of both. 4CMYK is generally used for more complex images like photographic and very colourful images.
One option for producing artwork is to provide us with your logo and other elements with instructions for size and placement on the bag.
Alternatively we can provide a "laysheet" specific to the dimensions of your bag for the art to be laid onto. This is recommended for more complicated artwork. Finished artwork will need to be supplied to us in and Adobe Illustrator (AI) format. If the colour requirements are very specific, we may ask you to provide us another printed item to match to.
On confirmation of your order, and receipt of your artwork we will provide you with a PDF Proof for your approval prior to proceeding with production. A fully printed sample may be provided for $295 + GST. For more complicated, or colour-specific artwork, we may recommend a sample is produced and sent to you for approval prior to production.
From approval of your artwork, the lead time is 8 - 10 weeks including shipment. Should you wish to airfreight a portion of your bags in advance of the shipment, please talk to us about the costs involved.
